Starbucks is a worldwide chain best known for its wide assortment of tea and coffee, pastries, and more.
We are working on validating Veterans Day discounts for 2024. Below is last year’s Veterans Day discount.
This year, Starbucks will offer free beverages to current and former military members on Veterans Day. If you or your spouse served in the military, stop and get a free hot or iced coffee of your choice.
Starbucks does not require military ID verification. Veterans, service members or military spouses taking advantage of the Veteran’s Day offer just need to ask at the counter when they order.
While Starbucks doesn’t have a corporate-wide everyday military discount, some individual stores offer their own discounts. For example, many airport Starbucks stores participate in travel and hospitality franchise discount policies, including military discounts.
Contact the Starbucks closest to you to find out if they offer a military discount.

Starbucks Supports Military Members and Veterans
Starbucks has supported military and veteran families through veteran-focused recruiting efforts and donations to military-focused organizations.
For Veterans Day 2023, Starbucks donated $100,000 to Team Red, White and Blue (Team RWB), a nonprofit organization focused on veteran mental and physical health and wellness.
Starbucks donated another $100,000 to the Travis Manion Foundation, which develops programs, training opportunities, and events designed to empower veterans and families of the fallen and inspire them to pass on their values.
Additionally, Starbucks donates coffee to deployed military members. To date, they’ve sent over four million Starbucks VIA Instant and K-cup coffee servings to military members who are deployed overseas, and overall, donate 6 million cups of coffee annually to military members.
In 2013, Starbucks launched its first dedicated veterans and military spouse hiring team. Since then, the team has hired over 26,000 former military members and spouses.
